Rejection: Fiction, by Tony Tulathimutte.

I am such a fan of Tulathimutte’s writing style. His writing is so clever and so funny, albeit extremely dense at times. The characters of this book, however, were so god-awful and annoying, finishing this came with a BUNCH of eye-rolling, deep breathing, and a surplus of the word “bruh” said out loud by me to no one in particular. Still excited to read Private Citizens at some point next year, though, and very happy to put this one down forever.
